Final Research Paper

Your research paper will be on a topic of your choice.  However, the “catch” is that you will either be looking for the tension within your topic or you will be looking beyond the single story many people hear when your topic is discussed.  Begin with a narrative, story, or anecdote that illustrates your topic and the way in which it creates this tension or single story.  Then use your research to begin to deconstruct and pull apart the story to get at the how and the why these stories are still being told.  Go beyond what the story says and tell what it means and matters to a larger community. This is a 4 page research paper with an oral presentation.

Requirements:
- At least three articles from the databases
- One book from the library, either print or e-book
- MLA format is required with proper citation and Works Cited references.

Submitted Topics:

- Eating Disorders
- College A
thletes - the difficulty of being one, the misperceptions of them, and the dedication it takes to be one
- Problems for the Wealthy

- Gun Control

- Academic Pressure and the Inability to see the Whole Student/Person

- Education Inequality
