Holocaust & Genocide Studies

The Holocaust, or Sho'ah, refers to the systematic, state-sponsored killing of six million Jewish men, women, and children and millions of others by the German Nazi party during World War II.  For the Germans, this was to be the final solution to the "Jewish question.”
